Dear customers,
our Czech firm produces for a long time accessories and consumables for X-ray and gamma-ray labs. There are a lot of radiographic techniques used to meet the requirements of many standards, codes, and specifications. With respect to the different working conditions in workplaces while inspecting various objects, it is not easy anytime to conduct the examination effectively and with some comfort.
Our intention is to provide some items, which could help you to make your inspection procedures easier.
No matter what you inspect you will use our basic products such as lead numbers, letters, and markers. We supply them as cast from lead or they are encased plastics (synthetic material). Lead numbers, letters, and markers due to their toxicity are rarely used or if applied then only in size of 20 mm when inspecting concrete constructions. Most customers use these lead markers covered on both sides by transparent synthetic material with oblique sides. This makes it possible to place them into the plastic holders. In size of 13 mm they are sufficiently discernible even if exposed with betatron, linear accelerator or cobalt.
Much of use are items embossed in plexiglass with lead paste. These markers are very shapely and they are also used in medicine. They are sufficiently discernible to thickness 60 mm steel. Further on we produce markers with slots, which are embossed in plexiglass with lead paste, too. In addition to the complete sets we also supply only single items, i.e. letters, numbers, arrows, lines of fraction, dashes etc.
We supply measuring tapes with lead numbers sewed in. We produce them spaced 1 cm with the maximum length of 1.5 m. With 5 cm or 10 cm spacing there are no limits of length. If needed, we can produce tapes tailored for the different pipe diameters, in which case the proper assignment is provided by designating letters. Sorting the films and their identification after processing is then easier and any confusion thus eliminated.
PVC cassettes are built up from black soften PVC with fastening in Velcro. We produce also special cassettes sewed up from the shoe materials, which are suitable in cases when welding joints with higher temperatures (or rough surfaces) have to be radiographed, and due to prospective damage.
